Q: Will Genome be free or commercial?
A: There will be free and commercial versions of Genome. The free version should have everything the average hobbyist needs to get started making music and will not have any limitations. The commercial version will be targetted at the more serious musician and will offer a few features not present in the free version. There may be several bundles of commercial product or features may be offered 'a la carte'. The exact details are not yet determined but that's the general plan.
